About Next Level Occupational Therapy
Next Level Occupational Therapy embarked on its journey in May 2019 following a transformative PT conference, propelled by a straightforward yet profound mission: to kindle a spark of possibility within occupational therapy professionals. Our goal was to encourage therapists to transcend traditional occupational therapy settings, fostering connections and nurturing personal and professional growth. As time unfolded, our vision blossomed into a vibrant and supportive community, acting as a springboard for therapists to explore new horizons. Here, they discovered the encouragement and tools needed to embark on diverse paths, whether it be starting a business, creating a side venture, writing a book, or pursuing other endeavors.
In response to feedback from our Facebook group, we launched with a visionary membership group. When PDPM brought about job losses for therapists, our founder, Kara Welke, collaborated with Steve Glukh, CEO of HelloNote, to create the Therapy Business Builder Program in October 2019. This initiative aimed to empower therapists
Over the years, we have helped hundreds of therapists start, build, and grow their practices through our flagship program. This program remains at the forefront of our mission as we continue to work with therapists to transition from therapists to business owners and then from business owners to CEOs.Recognizing the broader need, we extended our support to include physical and speech therapy professionals. We continually evolve, developing new programs, events, and services based on community feedback and industry trends. We take pride in our collaboration with AOTA to champion entrepreneurship within the OT community.
